Wow! I find your posts amazing and very interesting. For years I’ve thought my son, who is 31, was on the autistic spectrum because he doesn’t get on with others too well, you know he picks and chooses who he wants to be close to and there are times he likes being alone. He works as a motorcycle instructor and is very happy. After reading your stuff, I know now that he is just selective in his life. Thank u for helping me out. Inner peace. Peace comes from within, not without. Stillness in chaos is only come from inside when we know the mind and win it. We know that there are some principles in life, do it steadily, even slowly; we can benefit, success, happiness: with many names or definitions of it. These are the virtues, principles taught by great men, religions, and in many subjects in schools. Do against it or violate it, we may suffer from many names. So I do see autism, Asperger, ADHD, depression have hidden relations. I do learn about these principles or laws. So I feel it. I am not the specialists, but philosophy and all other knowledge make me think better to see the same hidden cause. Văn Duy Đào Agree. I was a bit anxious being pregnant and had no support system which also increased stress. I also had generational stress within my body (unprocessed emotions from childhood trauma, lack of love, etc). I was a very engaged parent but had to learn from books (no internet, no doctor dx, just books and as I had my guard up on who to trust in the world, I was always skeptical of just any old information, ie my sister tried to tell me about food allergens but I was resistant to understand. The baby was born with low white blood cell count, liver jaundice, and had to stay at the hospital without me. Hospital gave her formula when I wanted to breastfeed only. I was overweight and undernourished because of my (as mentioned) unprocessed emotions which affected my digestion/ability to absorb nutrients. I thank God I was able to be as engaged despite my health issues. She was my everything. However, despite my best efforts, the energy wasn't as good as it could have been because my energy was waning. I tell her how sorry I am and to please forgive me. She had a great childhood, but she wasn't happy despite our efforts. She had trouble making/keeping friends. I do feel she is toxic and has an inability to detoxify due to her emotions (anger - liver stagnation. She has gallstones). I try to love her more as she needs extra. We all need extra! Their father was exposed to chemicals in the gulf war and our government will not admit the connection. It is called the new agent orange and the government is treating the victims as they did agent orange victims. The sad part is it is ones like my children who bare the price. Thankfully I have been able to reach my children and they know mom is there for them. We have problems but work through them. My kids know if I don't understand something I won't give up till I do. This has allowed us the luxury of not having to deal with physical outburst. Nguyen Hoa you are right my son didn't learn to talk sitting at a table. I used the things he understood. I cut out pics from a book that showed sign language, drew pics and wrote the word. These were all over my house. He learned by applying what was all around him. I just had to learn to teach him just as one would a neurologically typical child. You ask do you want a drink they say yes you hand them a cup with something to drink. We just do it so naturally with children, we do not understand we are teaching them. Teaching a child with autism ADHD(which I was dxed with) or any nontypical dumb down child is learning what stimulates their desire to learn. Some need verbal instructions, others need to be shown and yet others need a combination of this. A very few just need to be let go and they will learn on their own. My daughter has some of the latter learning need. I tried to teach her to crochet at her request. She was excited but could not get it. We watch youtube videos, bought books, etc. She finally one day just sat and played with the yarn with no hook. She figured out how to crochet without hooks then added in the hook but held it different than any examples she saw. Each child is different whether autistic or any other condition or neurologically typical. ************************************** No, it is a reaction to shots the mother received during pregnancy and to medications and shots the mother received growing up. Many over the counter medications can have these effects as well as chemicals in food. Notice the trend in disadvantaged children being born. Earlier times babies were coming out deformed physically. After that, babies began to be born with down syndrome. After that babies were becoming born autistic. There are babies that have enameless teeth and missing extremities in that mix after the down syndrome effects. After these birth deformities, we started seeing more cases of children with ADHD/ADD and more children were becoming gender confused. The only way to intervene in such cases. Is genetic modification prior to being impregnated or avoid doctors and any unnatural food products throughout pregnancy. Do research on personal family medical charts to determine what medicinal practices were used to treat anything in the past of the same genes, with injections or tablet medicines. *********************************** Thank You, Duy. We will discuss the surrounding phenomena: Autism, depression, obesity, mastery, outliers, talent, ADHD, poor learning, stress, abilities, seizures, drugs, violence, gut feeling, PTSD and other phenomena. Is there any relation among autism, ADHD, poor learning, stress, depression & mental health? Some by genes, some are not by genes but they are comorbid! What if we can have the diagnostic since the kids 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 months old? What if we can have the diagnostic long before they can officially be diagnosed? then what these kids will be if we can give them effective intervention since that time 24/7 for kids with love, compassion, and patience? What if autism is just viewed as having substantially poor social skills? From the definition, will kids recover from autism if they have full communication skills, emotional skills, and social skills? The big question for autism is which causes make kids poor at these skills? This cause is also the cause of autism. And in the changing world, all are changing with different speed, genes, and brain change also. The changing of the brain is described well by NEUROPLASTICITY. If the defect in genes and brain is by nature, scientists can test and detect it to predict autism since the time of pregnancy, infant, ...but the facts is no, they cannot see any warning until the behaviors, poor skills are obvious! This makes me think problems in genes and brain are just the symptoms in the rainbow of autism. Sorry, I am not satisfied with the explanation for if the kids get autism or not as the random chances or luck. I will work to find out why! At least Autism: obvious facts are boys vs girls; city vs countryside; past vs present. (facts, rate of autism is soaring in the U.S.A. and the rate of poor state: Alabama is 1 per 175 while the rate of rich state: New Jersy 1 per 45; boys are 5 times higher than girls). Why are girls Outliers? Kids in my rural areas are outliers also with the rate is less 1/1000 kids while in U.S.A is 1/60? It is not the masking of autistic symptoms or advantages of diagnosing. We are talking about the abilities or disabilities of the individuals to get lifelong support from society or not! Then the chance of work, act, learn and operate all machines in the communities. It is not advanced diagnosing! When we view autism as the poor abilities to master social skills, speaking, giving a speech, communication skills. The small advantages of the lifestyle of past and present, of the countryside and city, and the advantages in the instinct of girl vs boy; all character of autism will be easy to understand. What if in the past, playing together, in nature, with trees, fishes, and animals, the kids have all these experiences and unconsciously applied all these therapies? It is the skills: who diagnosis for autism? I know the one who helps autistic kids are just bachelor = normal people with specific skills of interacting (no medicine, no drug, no special therapies) to help the kids have skills. And when we do realize that it is the skills, parents can realize since the kids small with several months old and have the earliest effective interventions. And just with small teaching for these parents, they can become the best special teachers for their kids and can help their kids 24/7 with love and patience. When it is the skills, parents can sense something wrong since the kids of 2 months old, or 3 months old or 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 months old. They can feel the early signs of poor social skills via everyday activities, every talk, every interaction. And they can help/cure the kids by massive interaction (this is also the advice of all specialists). All these kids can only get official diagnosing from 10 to 30 months later. It is too late when the golden time of forming the immature brain is finished. On the skills, by nature, parents can sense something not normal on time and have a natural intervention on time, they can save their kids. They can have normal healthy kids and millions of other parents! Are autism, depression, obesity, mastery, outliers, talent, ADHD, poor learning, stress, abilities, seizures, drugs, violence, PTSD born or created by a continuous and stoppable process? What is the role of the environment? If it is the process, the problems have to grow from small to impossible. So what if we can sense the problems since it was small. Stop before it is impossible: the problems will not appear, we need not try hard to make it disappear! If it is born, we should not touch or say about it. If it is created, we should help them vigorously to master the process as early as possible because the time of forming the immature mind is rare and precious and hard to reverse it back to normal Because: Most therapists, psychologists still think that it is born, even their work of consultations seem effective. And What if stress & pressure made adults depressed put on infants and babies? What are symptoms in growth, eat, sleep, learning & behaviors? Language is the product of a living environment which is formed well from the combination of the quantity of time and the quality of mind- as your native language and my native language, we speak it naturally without thinking at all. We are not born with our native language, so I doubt the connection kids with autism or delayed speech to their living environment and their feeling that they cannot learn well the native language and the metaphors. You can test them with Aesop fables, pretending game, funny game, role-playing games. You will realize that they are not good at understanding, interacting, communicating or persuading as normal kids. “You like your child want to eat organic food, Why?” “And why you force your child to play in the boring artificial environment: shopping center, box home, clean pavement, fake-plastic fruit, cotton dogs, plastic fish.” “These expensive fake, plastic or cotton toys with shape of dog, cat, chicken, robot, apple may tackle fully in the corner of the room, and your kids do not pay any attention much. But just 2-penny fish, crab, turtle, your kids may be excited to play with them all day, when.” Golden time may be lost: A story: my 1-year-old kid wake up and start to play, talk “Gugu gaga” in bed, my wife wakes up, got a cramp in leg and very painful, she lies in pain for a moment, my son nearly burst into tear so we have to kiss, hug and make fun of him for him to laugh again. Then when we know the whole process, we can have big view of too opposite directions of changing, we can understand and master it. We can become the outliers with awakened mind so that we can master the art of living wealth, health, joy, inner peace and happiness. |
